Advanced manufacturing technologies are key enablers in modern manufacturing and play an essential role in increasing the efficiency, competitiveness and profitability of the modern manufacturing industry.
This course is designed to expand the knowledge of new manufacturing technologies and their application in the modern manufacturing industry.
This course will provide you with an in-depth understanding of specific advanced and emerging manufacturing technologies and their implementation in modern industry within both global and local contexts. The focus is on additive technologies such as Selective Laser Melting, Direct Laser Metal Powder Deposition, Selective Electron Beam Melting, Metal-Wire Based Laser, Plasma and Electron Beam AM processes, Fused Deposition Modelling, Stereolithographyetc.
