Course Summary

This course is taken in the final year of the Associate Degree in Engineering Technology program. This major project work involves developing, managing and achieving the objectives of an engineering project and applying technical skills and knowledge in real or simulated workplace scenario.
The engineering project itself is a capstone project that encourages a holistic approach to managing the technical and managerial aspects of a project, utilising the multiple technologies and topics you have learnt. You will work on projects in small peer-support groups or in pre-determined project teams. You will submit an individual project report for assessment. You will be allocated a first and second supervisor.
This engineering project activity is carried out either in conjunction with industry or simulates a real engineering work environment, thereby contributing to Work Integrated Learning.
