In this course you will develop the skills and knowledge required for written transfer, the primary competency of the professional translator. You will learn to apply the relevant contextual knowledge required of a particular assignment, and to reflect on your translating experience as you develop your practice within a theoretical framework.

This course is compulsory for those who wish to sit the NAATI Certified Translator test.

Your will study one translation direction, from your weaker language into your stronger or native language.
