Course Summary

In this course you will explore issues of teacher wellbeing by examining the social, emotional, physical and environmental factors that influence your work as a teacher. The course focuses on identifying and managing work related health and wellbeing. You will develop skills for challenging work -place situations such as handling conflict resolution, active listening, difficult questions, stress, anxiety, bullying and harassment, as well as working with parents and the public. The course will include investigation of legal and ethical considerations, policy implications and professional support related to planning for short-term and long-term wellbeing in your career.
