In this course you will explore leadership responsibilities within early childhood settings and the role of the educational leader as set out in the National Quality Framework. You will investigate management and leadership skills including professional ethics, negotiation and change management, advocacy, quality assurance, and working effectively within the broader community. You will review the role of effective communication as managers and leaders within the field.

This course includes a 15 day work integrated learning experience in which your knowledge and skills will be applied and assessed in a real or simulated workplace context and where feedback from industry and/ or community is integral to your experience.
