Course Summary

This course draws on a problem-based, inquiry-focused approach to the teaching of Measurement and Geometry, and Statistics and Probability, which contributes to six of the content strands in the school curriculum. As you engage with this course, there is a strong emphasis on developing your own knowledge and confidence in the mathematics concepts that connect with school curricula at this level. You will explore and evaluate teaching practices that incorporate appropriate materials, modelling correct language and suitable strategies to engage students to work mathematically.
