Course Summary

In this course you will be introduced to the theories and practice of sound design for digital media. You will explore how audio can be synchronised with interactive and time-based media. You will analyse the abstract but powerful ways in which sound can be used to communicate emotive and narrative information and meaning. A focus of the course is application of the principles and practices of sound recording, editing, processing, mixing and synthesis, to design and produce digital audio works and soundtracks.
