Course Summary

This course is one of two advanced courses taught entirely in French from a total of eight courses in French offered at RMIT University.
The course will build on your existing knowledge of the French language and culture through the study of contemporary issues affecting the French language as covered in the Francophone media.
You will analyse some of the social and historical aspects as well as the current context of the French language of in France, and other French speaking countries.
All classes will be delivered in French, and emphasis will be placed on the development on the development of all language skills (oral/aural/reading/writing) in the French language with a particular emphasis on listening and writing skills.
You will be encouraged to be responsible for your own learning and to build on your knowledge to a level where you can continue with further self-directed learning.
