Course Summary

This course introduces two related areas of legal practice, environment and planning law. The course addresses state, federal and international law relating to the environment and natural resources with a focus on regulation. The course next addresses planning issues considering state and local authority regulation in relation to planning. The course deals with relevant legislation and case law in the developing areas of environment and planning law and considers issues of environmental justice that arise in legal practice in these areas.
