This course will introduce you to key aspects of management and leadership in a construction environment. The objectives of this course are to develop your understanding of general management theories and their application in the construction industry. You will also develop your knowledge of organisational structure, leadership approaches and team dynamics and supply chain management.
Topics covered in the course include:
* An introduction to management theories
* The Australian Construction Context
* Organizational Structure and the contemporary workplace
* Contemporary issues: ethical behaviour and social responsibility; organisational environment and diversity
