In this course you will explore the practice of adaptation in cinema across a variety of forms including comic books, novels, theatre, games, biography, translation, and music. The course will survey a range of theories of and approaches to adaptation, including remaking, remixing, rebooting, seriality, sequelisation, and transnationality.
