Course Summary

Games Design Studio 6 is an advanced course on digital game development, focusing on the practice of releasing video games to the public and attendant planning.
You will undertake both topical and studio sessions that extend your knowledge and skills for game development and design. Topical sessions on professional culture and folio planning will reinforce studio sessions on feedback delivery, audiovisual synthesis and conceptual rigour in game design.
You will collaborate in groups for part of this course, gaining experience in the multivalent roles of games development.
This course is designed as a capstone experience to enable you to synthesise and integrate knowledge, connect theory and practice as well as demonstrate holistic achievement of program learning outcomes.
This is a designated Work Integrated Learning (WIL) course for BP214 Bachelor of Design (Games). This course includes a work integrated learning (WIL) experience in which your knowledge and skills will be applied and assessed in a real or simulated workplace context and where feedback from industry and/ or community is integral to your experience.
