Course Summary
In this course you will extend your knowledge of the fundamental principles of corporate finance that you developed in Investment Evaluation Techniques. You will diagnose key financial aspects of property related decision making and develop high level financial and risk analysis skills to critically evaluate the impact that different financial tools have on investments. The course introduces you to a number of practical and theoretically sound investment analysis techniques from the corporate finance fields and directly applies them to the real estate sector. These concepts include Duration, EVA Value at Risk, Monte Carlo simulations and Fair value analysis.
