Course Summary
In Creative Writing Collaborations you will work on a negotiated project with other students and staff to model industry practice, providing you with an opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team. The aim is to enhance your employability in the creative industries. A variety of options will be open to you. For example, you could work with students from other programs and get involved in an interdisciplinary project such as the production of a television series, or writing and producing a game, or producing and publishing an anthology or website. Or you could work on a collaborative project offered externally such as hosting a series of literary events, writing a newsletter for an external community organisation, or responding to another industry brief.
This is the designated Work Integrated Learning (WIL) course for BP257 Bachelor of Arts (Creative Writing). This course includes a work integrated learning experience in which your knowledge and skills will be applied and assessed in a real or simulated workplace context and where feedback from industry and/ or community is integral to your experience.
