In this course you will initiate, research and develop a range of fashion materials, techniques and expressions. The projects enable you to scaffold the development and highlight the design strategies that resonate most with your practice.

You will determine your palette of materials, techniques, and expressions that relate to your industry aspirations or interests for future study. You will critically reflect on, research and experiment with your samples and propositions to determine the pitch and proposal for your major project in semester 2.
