Course Summary

In this course you will develop a strategic communication plan in collaboration with an industry partner of your choice. This experience will allow you to link the theories that support strategic planning with the practical communication needs of your organisation.
This is the designated Work Integrated Learning (WIL) course for MC248 Master of Communication and GD196 Graduate Diploma of Communication. This course includes a work integrated learning experience in which your knowledge and skills will be applied and assessed in a real or simulated workplace context and where feedback from industry and/or community is integral to your experience.
In this course you may have the option to undertake an internship.
Internship Information
An agreement including schedule and relevant insurance documentation is required to be completed before commencing each internship (local and international). International internships must be registered and processed through RMIT Global Mobility. In the case where a placement ends early, please refer to Changes or cancellation of WIL activities in the WIL Guideline.
