Course Summary
In this course, you will examine the principles and techniques of contemporary communication design practice. The course includes a series of studio-based projects, and a number of collaborative tasks, through which you will explore current thinking and best practice in communication design.
You will advance your conceptual and technical skills synthesising contextual, strategic and pragmatic considerations in communication design practice. You will also develop visual solutions to communication problems that are informed by relevant history and theory, and by strategic thinking and contemporary industry expectations.
This is a designated Work Integrated Learning (WIL) course for MC250 Master of Communication Design and GD198 Graduate Diploma of Communication Design. This course includes a work-integrated learning experience, in which your knowledge and skills will be applied and assessed in a real or simulated workplace context and where feedback from industry and/or community is integral to your experience.
