You will develop skills to critically evaluate the literature, formulate research questions, compose a comprehensive literature review and develop research project plans/ proposals. This course introduces you to the general principles, methodologies and practices of data collection (both qualitative and quantitative) and analysis in research, intellectual property, research integrity and ethics. Furthermore, you will develop skills to design and effectively communicate information in an engineering context.
