Course Summary
In this course you will be given a range of discrete, short-term studio tasks. These tasks are designed to allow you to suspend presumptions and judgements about your practice and will help you engender new material and conceptual possibilities in the making of your art.
You will learn techniques for generating artworks that can be applied across any medium and will be challenged to expand your existing practice by setting aside habits of thought and making.
You will trial processes to produce art works quickly without pre-judging the outcomes. The emphasis is on experimentation rather than resolution, working to identify a preliminary set of research interests that animate your practice.
