Course Summary
In this course you will be introduced to the principles of digital media in culture. You will apply these principles to analyse digital media practice in the contemporary context and in relation to media culture and history. The course includes a focus on the ways in which meaning can be represented and messages communicated through digital media. You will apply techniques for creating and manipulating digital designs that communicate messages through strong audiovisual, interactive and user-experience based narratives. The course also focuses on the notions and roles of intellectual property and copyright within digital media.
