Course Summary

This course introduces you to contemporary teaching and learning approaches that support design thinking and digital technologies. You will develop your own skills in applying design thinking to solve problems. You will develop your understanding of computational and systems thinking through practical, hands-on workshops. You will critically evaluate practices and research in the use of digital technologies and design thinking in the classroom, to understand how to purposefully and creatively integrate digital technologies to support student engagement and learning. You will also develop your understanding of the theoretical underpinnings and core learning concepts that lie at the heart of design and digital technologies curriculum. You will develop your understanding about the safe, responsible and ethical use of digital technologies.
