In this course you will build upon and develop your knowledge, concepts and skills as well as pedagogical approaches relevant to teaching of the Humanities across early childhood and primary school settings.

You will cover the learning areas of primary school humanities curriculum - civics & citizenship, economics and business, geography and history. You will explore the history and culture of indigenous peoples in Australia Islanders and discuss the place of Indigenous cultures, aspirations and achievements in Australia. You will reflect on the nature of humanities pedagogical content and practices and ways to apply this understanding to learning and teaching practices.
