In this course you will develop the skills to enable you to produce multi-media journalism and reflect on the impact emerging technologies have on journalistic practice. You will develop skills using modern communication equipment and emerging technologies required by journalists when preparing written, visual, audio or multi-media material across multiple platforms.

Using industry-standard equipment, you will be introduced to the basics of audio/visual and text-based journalism techniques used to produce and present live broadcast and text-based news and features. You will also learn to use communication technologies that can enhance your journalistic practice.
