Course Summary

In this course you will investigate and analyse market trends, policy and regulatory issues associated with working as a property professional in the global market. You will further build your knowledge of development, global investment flows and other significant global property trends.
You will visit iconic property sites and evaluate best practice across diverse organisations. These experiences will develop your insight into local practices and how these practices inform and are impacted on global trends in property. You will synthesise and expand your knowledge of international best practice in property markets.
This course includes a study tour conducted during an intensive period The study tour offers a unique forum to develop your practical knowledge and skills which focus on global trends in property.
This global focus provides the opportunity for you to critically evaluate real time case studies in property development, investment and asset management.
The study tour component may take the form of onsite activities, presentations from local professionals and site visits. You will be provided with opportunities to create and expand global networks to further enhance career options. All participants in the study tour must enrol in this course. Please note that course enrolment fees do not include tour costs. Refer to the Course Coordinator and Part B course guide for the itinerary, travel and accommodation costs. Prior to departure of each tour there will be a series of preparatory information meetings.
