Course Summary
This course will provide you with a range of research skills and knowledge of frameworks relevant to the global fashion industry. You will develop appropriate research strategies that can be employed in a fast-paced fashion environment, relevant to business, creative and management agendas. You will investigate the role and process of primary and secondary research in the context of the fashion industry. This includes both qualitative and quantitative methods of data acquisition, validation and analysis.
For GD203 Graduate Diploma Fashion (Entrepreneurship), this course includes a work integrated learning experience in which your knowledge and skills will be applied and assessed in a real or simulated workplace context and where feedback from industry and/ or community is integral to your experience. Your design presentations will be facilitated through feedback and engagement with industry partners.
