This course introduces you to bio-informed approaches for generating sustainable fashion and textiles. You will work with living systems and biological processes to make and grow bio-fabricated materials, including bioplastics, SCOBY, and mycelium. Through hands-on experimentation, you will explore how we can collaborate with nature to develop new, more sustainable material possibilities. You will also examine current developments and trends in the field to understand existing limitations and emerging opportunities.
