Course Summary
This course builds upon the course GRAP2816 Fashion and Textile Materials to deepen and extend your knowledge of fibres, textiles and materials. You will learn how to undertake a Life Cycle Assessment and you will examine the complexities of responsible textile material selection in the context of the relationship between material choice, use, and post-use options. In doing this, you will assess a range of textile materials for their sustainability viability. You will also investigate emerging trends with materials that offer optimal sustainability potential.
