Course Summary

This course will extend the skills and knowledge you have gained in the course GRAP2821 Fashion Expressions to enable you to e?ectively communicate a range of fashion concepts relative to a speci?c fashion context. You will learn strategies for image making and presentation to communicate your design ideas that are developing as a part of your own fashion practice.
The aim of this course is to introduce industry conventions such as standard fashion product names, descriptions, fashion industry speci?c terms and language. This is supported by other methods of communication within the fashion industry including image making through drawing, video and digital media. On successful completion of this course students will gain an understanding of contemporary fashion communication strategies and the relevant methods and techniques to enable them to e?ectively embody and express design intentions as a central part of fashion design and other fashion practices.
