Course Summary

This course introduces you to the concepts of sustainable practice and fashion innovation through reinvention. You will learn to apply sustainable and ethical design theory to the practices of re-design and re-manufacture within an industrial fashion context. You will also learn how to apply your emerging design skills to demonstrate sustainable design techniques through experimental design practice. You will achieve a deeper appreciation for collaborative and reflective design practice, active documentation and challenge common understandings of fashion design process and supply chains. This course offers an opportunity to experience different approaches to fashion production and consumption through a live project.
