Course Summary
In this course you will refine critical skills developed in Fashion Practice Research Strategies and Advanced Fashion Materials, Techniques, Expressions in the gathering, synthesis, analysis, assessment and presentation of knowledge in the theory and practice of design, as well as its historical, social and cultural contexts.
You will acquire advanced knowledge of current research projects and research methods in fashion design. By the end of the course you will have completed a self-directed research dissertation project on a topic of your own choosing in consultation with supervisors and teachers. This course can provide a pathway to postgraduate research.
