Course Summary
In this course you will realise an honours major fashion design collection which may include a variety of design outcomes to aptly express your fashion design practice in a specific fashion industry context (market/ audience).
Through the application of development from the previous semester you will refine and resolve advanced fashion materials, techniques and expressions that may involve collaboration with other disciplines specific to your design approach.
You will be required to revise communication and production of outcomes and continually plan and manage in detail the series of outcomes, techniques, materials, expressions and collaborations applicable to realising your collection.
You will work through a structured series of dynamic simulated practice learning experiences designed to assist you in managing and producing your own design collection and developing strategies for future independent design practice or further research.
This course includes a Work Integrated Learning experience in which your knowledge and skills will be applied and assessed in a simulated workplace context and where feedback from industry and or/community is integral to your experience.
