In this course you will develop skills and knowledge about the design and creation of woven textiles. You will learn basic weaving techniques, experiment with textile materials, colour and structures, to build your understanding of how woven textiles can be used in your own field and professional practice, such as for interior/exterior spaces, body and/or experiences. You will learn to evaluate and communicate woven concepts through undertaking a project considering aesthetic, technical, and sustainability aspects appropriate to your chosen woven textile area of interest.
