Course Summary

Through this course you will begin to develop an understanding of what it means to be a globally-minded and ethical lawyer. The course covers crucial foundational knowledge of the Australian legal system in the context of an increasingly globalised world. This includes the sources of law and the institutions of the legal system. It will introduce concepts of justice, fairness and human rights to help you become a critical thinker. You will also develop fundamental skills in legal reasoning, research, writing, and problem-solving skills.
