Course Summary
Robotics, autonomous systems and sensing technologies sit at the heart of the fourth industrial revolution, at the intersection of physical and digital worlds. These technologies underpin self-driving cars, smart cities, autonomous drones, and sensor technology capturing data that will revolutionise and enhance industries. In order to capitalise on the opportunities presented, organisations must develop their technical knowledge and examine exactly how they do, and could do, business.
In this course you will undertake a project that investigates the opportunities and implications of robotics and/or remote sensing in an authentic context. Working with industry partners and mechatronics experts from the College of Science, Engineering and Health, you will identify an opportunity and investigate options for implementation of robotics/remote sensing into a specified business context.
