This course provides you with an overview of cyber security and focuses on identifying cyber security risks, cyber resilience and exploring continuity management issues.

The course examines: data integrity; cyber-crime impact; risk identification and mitigation strategies; cyber security frameworks for differing business contexts; and communicating technical information to a range of audiences. In addition, the course explores the motivation of hackers and social engineering will be discussed in the context of ethics and their place in cyber security. The course takes a project-based approach to investigating cyber security applications, where you will apply your disciplinary learning to a specific organisational context.
