Course Summary

This course describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to identify plumbing pipes, plumbing fittings and plumbing fixtures, including fastening, as part of a variety of simulated plumbing jobs (that is, jobs that will not actually have water or gas connected) and in accordance with job, organisational and legal requirements.
This course does not meet the requirements for a registered plumber.
This course is to be embedded into other courses to provide the participant with the skills and knowledge to assemble, fabricate and support plumbing pipes, plumbing fittings and plumbing fixtures in an appropriate sequence and in accordance with plumbing regulation.
