Course Summary
In this course, you will practically apply the knowledge and skills gained through the program and create meaningful connections for your professional future as you experience learning in a industry environment. With the support of your lecturer and class resources, you will further develop your portfolio while you gain an understanding of industry dynamics and perspectives.
This is a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) course in which your knowledge and skills will be applied and assessed in a real workplace context and where feedback from industry and/ or community is integral to your experience.
In conjunction with your prospective employer/mentor, you will develop a training plan with clearly defined objectives and outcomes. If you are currently employed, you must seek an internship outside of your workplace. Internships may or may not be financially compensated: your employer/mentor is under no obligation to do so.
You are required to research and locate a potential internship in a suitable WIL environment prior to the commencement of this course. You are encouraged to seek the support of RMIT Careers and advice from your lecturer.
