Course Summary

Designed specifically for students completing the Bachelor of Business Professional Practice program, this course provides a 24 credit point opportunity to immerse yourself in work-integrated learning, working in a partner organisation in an area relevant to your future career. Partner organisations may be from a diverse range of industries and sectors, including private industry and not-for-profit organisations.
In this course, you are expected to work around 240 hours in total for the approved host industry partner. This can be undertaken at one time, for example 6-7 weeks full-time, or spread across a period of time, for example, this may be the equivalent of two-three days each week over 12 weeks.
While completing a Business Internship you will have access to academic mentoring throughout your internship, as well as specialised career and personal development opportunities through the College of Business and Law's Professional Practice Academy.
