Course Summary

New models of implementation and impact evaluation are emerging within the field of human-centred design. These require sophisticated design processes in order to realise projects and ensure effective embedding of policy or procedural frameworks within an organisation.
In this advanced, executive education and research course, students will explore design and other disciplinary methods to implement transformation projects and evaluate the impact for the organisation and stakeholders.
An outcome of this course will be developing the means to translate design research into policy, and to take account of impact on society and economy.
The course is grounded in the teaching case methodology, where real world propositions are taken though a series of simulated processes. Students will be encouraged to immerse themselves in the case provided and propose relevant approaches, reflecting on their efficacy and chances to succeed.
