Contracts are fundamental to business transactions. Introduction to Contract Law provides students with a systematic and comprehensive introduction to general principles of contract law. The course covers both legislation and case law that govern contract law in Australia. It explores the elements for the formation of a contract, formalities, capacity, privity and assignment. It also examines the terms and construction of a contract, including express terms, implied terms, classification of terms, construction principles and exclusion clauses. This course lays a solid foundation for your study of 054907 Advanced Principles of Contract Law in the LLB program.
