Course Summary

This course provides you with an understanding of how the immune system protects the human body from deadly pathogens such as bacteria, viruses and parasites via the innate and adaptive immune responses. It will also explore immune-related disorders where immune dysfunction contributes to the pathological state such as allergy, autoimmunity, cancer and rejection of transplantation.
