Course Summary
In this course you will examine the management of innovation and technology taking an interdisciplinary perspective that links engineering with business management. Considering contemporary case studies and views from industry professionals you will develop new insights into the integration of technology strategy with business management in both large and start-up organisations. The course will explore how technology-based organisations create competitive advantage through exploitation of new technology and being innovative. Consideration and exploitation of intellectual property in the framework of ethical decision making are core pillars which you will consider in detail during the course.
If you are enrolled in this course as a component of your Bachelor Honours Program, your overall mark will contribute to the calculation of the Weighted Average Mark (WAM).
