This course specifies the skills and knowledge required to disconnect and reconnect Type A gas appliances operating on natural gas (NG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The work is confined to disconnecting and reconnecting the appliance.

In some jurisdictions, this unit of competency may form part of accreditation, licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements.
