This course specifies the skills and knowledge required to plan the layout of and install below ground sanitary drainage systems for sewage and waste discharge from sanitary fixtures to approved points of connection in new or existing domestic and commercial structures.

In some jurisdictions, this unit of competency may form part of accreditation, licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements.
