Course Summary

This course will introduce you to digital health and also review the research methods and evidence-based practice used to inform nursing practice. You will learn to identify, analyse and critically appraise literature that provides an insight into contemporary nursing care. The use of research both as a key feature of evidence-based practice, and to achieve improvements in healthcare delivery will be explored. You will also recognise the impact of digital health on nursing practice and potential future applications of those technologies in nursing and health care. Digital health will be discussed, in relation to issues such as data security and privacy.
