Course Summary

In this course you will explore contemporary nursing practice for people experiencing chronic conditions and disability. You will explore the impact of chronic conditions and disability on quality of life from all age groups and cultural backgrounds. You will apply the social determinants of health in the context of community care and be introduced to key concepts in chronic and preventative health interventions. You will review the provision of palliative and end-of-life care using evidence-based guidelines and frameworks for all age groups.
