This course will equip you with current knowledge about adolescent development and wellbeing and help you to apply this understanding to professional practice and school systems. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of developmental pathways and wellbeing pertinent to adolescent learning, while exploring how forms of disadvantage can hinder adolescent development necessary for learning and wellbeing. Learning about relationships, identity formation, and cognitive growth are focused upon as key areas of adolescent development and wellbeing. You will develop an in-depth understanding of the value of adopting a research informed and wellbeing-focused approach in your professional practice.
