With digitalisation and the rise of online platforms and transactions, cross-border e-commerce has not only grown rapidly but also significantly improved trade across international borders. In this course, you will review and critically analyse a variety of contemporary issues that are crucial to managing cross-border e-commerce in the digital era. You will develop your skills and abilities to evaluate business opportunities, adopt suitable operating strategies, and deal with related challenges to succeed in the ecosystem of cross-border e-commerce in international markets.
The course is divided into three parts: overview of cross-border e- commerce; cross-border e-commerce business models and operations; future trends and challenges of cross-border e-commerce. This course includes a work integrated learning (WIL) experience in which your knowledge and skills will be applied and assessed in a real or simulated workplace context in the field of cross-border e-commerce.
