Course Summary

The purpose of Digital Communication professional practice course is to provide you with the experience of working in digital communication practice either through an internship or by doing an industry focused project.
The course aims to provide you with an opportunity to engage with the opportunity to engage with an internship or project experience.:
By undertaking an internship or industry focused project, you will develop important digital communication skills for your post-graduation employment, making you work-ready, flexible and adaptable.
Your experience will be supported by learning activities designed to help you critically reflect on your professional practice
If you chose an internship it will run between 80-120 hours and can be with either a local or international employer.
This is a designated Work Integrated Learning (WIL) course for the Digital communication major. This course includes a work integrated learning experience in which your knowledge and skills will be applied and assessed in a real or simulated workplace context and where feedback from industry and/ or community is integral to your experience.
