Course Summary
This is an intensive course that focuses on developing your knowledge of communication practices within local, national or global contexts. The experiences in this course will enable you to explore the nature of communication practices and organisations within these diverse contexts.
In this course you participate in a study tour where you will visit a region to provide your firsthand insight into communication practices by visiting different organisations operating within a range of sectors. This will allow you to contextualise your experience of communication organisations and practices while broadening your perspectives of the industry. This will help to inform your future career and study options.
All participants in the study tour must enrol in this course.
Please note that course enrolment fees do not include tour costs. Refer to the Course Coordinator for details of your preferred tour including itinerary; travel and accommodation costs; tour costs and deadlines.
Prior to the departure of each tour there will be a series of preparatory meetings and administrative tasks. Your full participation is expected in these activities.
